The Appropriate use of Engineered Earth Armoring Solutions

Drew Loizeaux is a licensed engineer in the state of Tennessee and manages Propex’s Engineering Services department to lead the industry in slope stability analysis and design, erosion control analysis and design, as well as testing and field support for erosion control and geosynthetic solutions. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Furthering education, Drew completed a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering publishing a thesis, titled “A Quantified Approach to the Functional Longevity of Geosynthetic Rolled Erosion Control Products (GRECPs),” which developed a process to determine the design life of High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mats (HPTRMs).
