The purpose of this module is to give an introduction to the CISEC and Canadian CISEC (CAN-CIESC) program as well as how construction activities can impact the environment. Additionally, this module will ensure inspectors understand regulatory agencies and applicable legislation as it relates to the protection of aquatic environments. Additionally, it provides information on the potential penalties that exist for non‐compliance of construction sites.
