David Batts

Director, Construction EcoServices

David Batts grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast where he spent every free moment he had on the water. It was fitting that as a professional he found himself helping protect the very ecosystem that he enjoyed as an adolescent. Promoting innovative new water management strategies is as much of a passion as it is how he makes a living, and he often finds himself far from home presenting to anyone that will listen about his latest finding or lesson learned in his pursuit of perfection in Green Infrastructure Design and Construction Methods. David joined Construction EcoServices in 2006 as the first employee in the Stormwater System Solutions business unit that he now runs. He is an avid fisherman and conservationist and spends as much time as possible with his wife and three boys enjoying nature.

Mitch Whitson

Scott Gorneau, PE

National Manager

As National Manager of Stormwater Solutions for the ACF-CWT Alliance, Mr. Gorneau is responsible for managing accounts seeking to grow their businesses by offering innovative green infrastructure\low impact stormwater solutions that enable new applications and raise the bar on performance, cost effectiveness and verification.

Earning a BS in Biological Systems Engineering in 1996 and a MS in Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering in 1998 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln provided the necessary knowledge for Gorneau to launch his career into the technical sales and specified engineered products industry. He’s spent the subsequent time since graduation gaining experience and expanding his knowledge of the industry on a wide variety of civil and environmental engineering design projects for private and public sector clients. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Maine and New Hampshire, and a Maine Certified Stormwater Inspector. While the business has grown substantially, the main premise has never changed, take care of the customer, promote the best quality solutions, know the product and the applications better than anyone else, continually introduce new ideas and products and above all, provide high quality service to our customers.
Convergent Water Technologies (CWT) is headquarted in Houston, TX and was founded in 2011 to address the urgent need for innovative stormwater management solutions. Convergent Water Technologies delivers cost-effective systems and services designed to overcome water management challenges.
