CISEC In-Training (IT) Program
In order to foster the professional development of individuals having less than two years of construction site sediment and erosion control inspection experience or education to become a CISEC registrant, applicants can apply for the “In Training” (IT) program to gain a CISEC-IT designation. A CISEC-IT registrant is an individual recognized by Ecopliant Envrionmental, Inc. as working toward becoming a CISEC registrant. All CISEC-IT registrants are expected to work with other inspection professionals to gain “knowledge and field experience” associated with conducting sediment and erosion control and/or storm water management construction site inspection services.
IT, Part 1 Registration:
To obtain a CISEC-IT registration status, applicants must complete the following:
- Submit the required registration form and IT, Part 1 examination fee. The registration form can be found as part of the Content tab.
- Take the US training modules.
- Pass with a score of 75% or better in the following parts of the CISEC Certification Examination:
- EPA Regulations requirements applicable to inspectors
- BMPs and Pollutants
Those that pass the IT, Part 1 examination are granted a CISEC-IT designation.
Applicants are NOT required to submit an application to take the CISEC-IT, Part 1 examination:
Upon registering for the examination, the applicant will be asked to fill out a registration form with their name, address, phone numbers and emails and agree to information specific to the examination.
General Examination Information:
This certification examination is presented in one section.
The examination will be a maximum of 2.0 hours in duration.
In order to obtain the certification, you must pass with a score of 75% or greater. You will receive a score of Pass or Fail for Section 1 upon completion and submittal.
Please allow for up to 72 hours after submittal of the exam for a formal response from Ecopliant Environmental, Inc. regarding your examination results.
Should you fail, Ecopliant Environmental, Inc. will contact you with information on how to retake the examination.
Proctor Information:
Proctoring of all examinations will occur through ProctorU. Scheduling for examinations are available 24/7 to fit your schedule.
ProctorU fee (paid directly to ProctorU at time of scheduling your examination): $26.00
